My qrp ham radio station now is solar powered at 90%.
I've installed a 10 watt solar panel tha charges two 12Volt Pb sealed batteries.
The batteries are connected to the charging panel one at a time.
While a battery is charging the other is used by the hamradio gears, so there are non problem of pwm interferencies.
On the left you can see the solar panel controller and the two batteries
In the center the distribution panel with the voltmeter.
The switches permits the battery selection and the battery to be charged selection.
On the upper left a modified usb hub that is uses to charged usb powerd devices.
In the hub there is a step down converter from 12V to 5V
